You are a writing for a popular WWI website. You have been assigned to give your opinion on whether or not the U.S. should have entered WWI. You have read two texts to help you prepare for this task:
- The Sinking of the Lusitania and Submarine Warfare
- Transcripts of the Zimmerman Telegram

Have you ever thought about the U.S. entering WWI? I have I think about it in Social Studies class. I have read 2 text "The Sinking of the Lusitania and Submarine Warfare" and "Transcripts of the Zimmerman Telegram." In this thesis I am going to tell you my opinion on whether or not the U.S. should have entered WWI. My opinion about this is that the U.S. should have entered WWI.

ReplyDeleteIf you start with a question, then use a question mark at the end of it. You did a great job naming your texts. Also, I love how you said "In this thesis..." Be sure to put a comma after thesis because that is an transitional phrase and has to be separated from the rest of the sentence.

DeleteYou did everything right. You have all your parts of an introduction: a hook, named your texts, told your purpose, and gave your opinion. When you write "In this thesis" use a comma after it to separate it from the rest of the sentence.
