Read This!
Reading is a huge part of becoming a better learner. It is important that we are always reading something. What is a book you've read this year that you absolutely loved? Write a review of the book. Be sure not to give any spoilers. Just give enough to make us want to read your book.
One book I've read is Wonder by R.J. Polacio. Wonder is about a boy named Auggie who doesn't look like everyone else: his face is deformed from a birth defect. Wonder takes you through his journey as he goes from being home schooled to entering school. Imagine the reaction students have to his face? Sometimes they aren't very nice. Will Auggie make friends, or will he be alone. I loved Wonder! I laughed. I cried. I encourage you to read this book. I think you will love it as much as I did, maybe more!

DeleteOne book i've read this year is Dairy Of a Wimpy Kid Long Hall.I really enjoy it.A boy named Greg and his mom,dad, brother,and his little brother.He goes to a hotel their car broke down.I hope you will enjoy this book like i did.

DeleteI think he got bullied a lot from people who couldn't relate too him. But people who could relate were probably nicer to Auggie. I feel sorry for Auggie.

ReplyDeleteOne book i have read is Sisters.Sisters is about two sisters who are in a fight.will the sisters ever get over it? It is the most funniest book I have ever read.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book I've read this year was Henry Ford. The is about a man named Henry and his son. They both had made ford cars. Ford is here still today.

Tens of thousands of people watch her videos on fashion! But when her sister is killed in an accident, maybe because of her videos, Torrey's world is turned upside down... Now, people online are bashing her, and at her new school she doesn't know who to trust...
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book so far this year would be ''Letter's of a Nation''. It is not really a story,but inside of the book,there are tons of letters. The letters aren't just from some boring person,there from famous people,to other famous people. This book caught my attention ,right away,and I think that it will catch yours too. Here are some exsamples of the letters: Elvis Presley to Pres. Richard Nixon, General Lee to his army, A Union General to General Lee,and more!! My favorite letter is Fredrick Douglass to his former Captain. It is very intresting!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is The Mysterious Times. It is very good. One of the stories are New York Supreme Court Justice Vanishes. That is just one there are 29 more stories and they are awesome.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have read many books this year and loved them all, my favorite would have to be Cake Pop Crush by Suzanne Nelson. It is about a girl named Ali, who loves baking and has lost her mother. She and her dad own the bakery, Say It With Flour. Across the street a Coffee Shop called Perk Up has opened and the business is in a run for its money. The owner of the Coffee Shop's son has caught Ali's eye. Will Say It With Flour step up there game before it is to late? This book is a great book that you will love!
ReplyDeleteThe favirote book I read was giants beware.Giants beware is about a giant that eats baby feet and a little kid wants to capture it. It is a super cool book I like it because it shows that small people can do any thing.

ReplyDeleteThis year my favorite book have read this year is The One And Only Ivan By Katherine Applegate.This book is amazing . It takes you through the point view of a gorilla . It made me very emotional and I laughed alot . I hope you read this book it is amazing

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that I have read this year is Dead End In Norvelt! This book has a mystery around every corner and will blow you out your shoes in the ending! Dead End In Norvelt is full of surprises and funny moments! This book is truly amazing and you will love it!

ReplyDeleteOne book I've read is The BFG by Roald Dahl. The BFG is about a lttle orphan girl who wakes up one night during ''The Witching Hour'' only to find a giant outside her window blowing some thing into the nabor's window. The giant takes her away to giant country where she discovers many other giants that,unlike The BFG, eat men. Will Sophie ever get back home and will these man-eating-brutes ever be stopped? Read The BFG by Roald Dahl to find out!
ReplyDeleteI love I Survived The Joplin Tornado 2011 why I think it is a good book is because it has some cool stuff and because it also has a tornado and it has a eleven year old boy a man that tracks the tornado! I LOVE IT!
ReplyDeletemy favorit book was dead end in norvelt it is about a kid in a worn down town his nose bleeds every time he is shocked and there is lots of shocks his dad is in the army so he owns jap stuff he shot a rifle and got grounded for summer he helps a lady right the paper and burrie the dead there is a gang called hells angles they burn houses and rob the town there is a guy who likes the old lady there is many other suprises in the book raed it and find out
ReplyDeleteToday as I know it will be terrible. You want to know why? Well um, BECAUSE TODAY IS THANKSGIVING!!! Every year on Thanksgiving lots of hunters come and kill my family members! Every year we huddle in the farthest corner in the field. I for one almost got my tail eaten of by one of their dogs. I try to protect my family but every year some one gets taken for thanks giving dinner. Oh no, they are here, NO!!!!!! Not my sister!!!!!! Ahhhh!!! THEY GOT ME!!!! HELP!!!!!!
